We have expounded on the importance of cleansing/detoxing, and we have gain a better understanding on the various aspects that expose us to toxins. It’s time for us to dig a little deeper . God has provided an antidote for disease in simple plants which can be used with no denial of faith for by using the blessings provided by God we cooperate with Him. We cannot only place emphasis on the antidotes without spending equal time introducing the EIGHT DOCTORS and the role they play in keeping the nutritive and cleansing action of the body in perfect balance. The relationship between the two is like the Old and New Testament. You cannot accept the one and neglect the other, for together they form a perfect whole.

All the laws of health are important because they either help the body make good blood, or help purify the blood, or help make sure the blood gets to all parts of the body unhindered. It would not do much good if you had pure blood that did not circulate freely and nourish all parts of your body. So the main goal as far as aiming at perfect health is to have pure blood and perfect circulation. Let’s look briefly at each of the eight laws and see how they relate to the secret of good health.

“Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise, proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power —these are the true remedies. Every person should have a knowledge of nature’s remedial agencies and how to apply them. It is essential both to understand the principles involved in the treatment of the sick and to have a practical training that will enable one rightly to use this knowledge. The use of natural remedies requires an amount of care and effort that many are not willing to give. Nature’s process of healing and upbuilding is gradual, and to the impatient it seems slow. The surrender of hurtful indulgences requires sacrifice. But in the end it will be found that nature, untrammeled, does her work wisely and well. Those who persevere in obedience to her laws will reap the reward in health of body and health of mind.”        CG 366.2

Nutrition

Hippocrates once said "Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food." Proper diet makes healthy blood that will build up the health of the entire body, providing good building materials for growth and repair...

Exercise

Exercise cleanses the blood stream, which keeps the body strong. Regularity, consistency and moderation is key in improving your memory and brain function, protecting against many chronic diseases, and aiding in weight management.

Water

Drink plenty of water on arising and between meals. Water is the best liquid possible to cleanse the tissues and purify the blood. Two glasses of water on arising with in one a little freshly squeezed lemon juice is a great way to start the day! Drink a short while before breakfast!

Sunlight

Vitamin D is a nutrient your body needs for building and maintaining healthy bones. Vitamin D also regulates many other cellular functions in your body. Sunlight on the skin will provide all the vitamin D you need. The darker the skin complexion the more sun exposure needed.

Temperance

Temperance keeps harmful substances out of the blood stream; keeps it from becoming clogged with toxic by-products of overeating. . If the body's energy is not wasted on harmful indulgences there is enough energy left over to heal and repair the body.

Air

Oxygen helps burn up impurities in the body, and provides oxygen, a "food" for the cells, through the bloodstream. Your immune system guards your body against dangerous invaders (like viruses and bacteria). Oxygen fuels the cells of this system, keeping it strong and healthy.

Rest

Rest- helps rebuilds the cells of the body. Rest gives the body undisturbed time to build up its strength. Getting enough sleep is essential for helping a person maintain optimal health. When it comes to their health, sleep is as vital as regular exercise and eating a balanced diet. The body heals during sleep.

Trust in God

Remember the promises of God:
"Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness." John 16:33; Isaiah 41:10.

B2EL Health is Wealth is a personal ministry initiative started via a Whatsapp group chat by Roslyn & Kenroy Brookson by means of sharing daily health nuggets. The purpose of this ministry is to help educate and encourage friends, family and as many persons as possible in combating-, preventing illness and ultimately to preserve health by understanding how to care for our body, by abiding to the 8 laws of health and the use of natural remedies for restoration of health.

  •  Understanding the conditions necessary for health & health reform!
  •  Understanding the importance of ascertaining the nature & cause of disease
  •  Understanding why there must be an intentional “willingness to forgo present pleasure for future good”.
  • Educating our visitors how to prepare or cook healthy, delicious and palatable plantbased meals, drinks and desserts.
  • Provide and support medical missionary work endeavors as to minister holistically to those around us and on other islands or countries.
